Maxwell Massage PLLC is a licensed massage therapy clinic in Belltown, Seattle. We treat pain, injuries, tension, and stress.
Every therapist has clinical training and works with you to figure out what's going on in your body, not just where it hurts.
We opened to provide massage therapy with a goal of relief that lasts past the appointment.

What makes this different from a spa
A spa sells an hour that feels good. We are trying to change something that is wrong, which means the session is built around a problem rather than a menu, and the first one is partly assessment.
It also means we bill like a clinic. Car accident claims, work injuries through L&I, and VA Community Care are billed directly, so you pay nothing at the visit. Those three are the reason a lot of people find us: massage after a collision or an injury at work is covered, and most people do not realize it.
For commercial insurance we are out of network, which is a different arrangement and worth understanding before your first appointment. We explain how Superbills work.
Our approach
We take a practical approach. Every session starts with questions about your pain patterns, daily habits, and what you've already tried. Treatment is based on what your body is doing that day, not a script.
We use informed consent and plain language. If something is outside our scope, we'll tell you and refer you to the right provider. We reassess regularly so treatment stays on track with your goals.
Massage therapy supports soft tissue health, mobility, and symptom management. We do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medications.
Paying for care
Insurance and billing
We are out of network with commercial insurance and provide Superbills for reimbursement. Auto PIP, eligible work-injury claims, and VA Community Care are billed directly.
