Massage Therapy near Capitol Hill, Seattle
Sports massage, myofascial release, and clinical bodywork for Capitol Hill's active community. Our Belltown clinic is 10-15 minutes away by car or bus, with flexible scheduling to fit your routine.
Clinical massage for active bodies
Capitol Hill residents tend to move. Running the hills around Volunteer Park, cycling to work, fitting in yoga classes between shifts. That kind of active lifestyle keeps you healthy, but it also creates wear patterns your body can only compensate for so long before something starts to hurt.
Maxwell Massage PLLC is located at 100 Wall St in Belltown, about 10-15 minutes from Capitol Hill by car or the Route 8 bus. Our therapists work with runners, cyclists, and yoga practitioners regularly, using sports massage and myofascial release to address the specific demands of your training.
Whether you are dealing with IT band tightness from running, hip flexor restrictions from cycling, or recovering from a pulled muscle, our team builds each session around what your body needs that day. We do not follow a generic routine.

Conditions we treat for active Capitol Hill residents
Cupping therapy is a technique some athletic clients choose as part of a session for tight, overused areas. Combined with myofascial release, it can be tailored to the movement patterns and recovery goals that matter to you.
For sports injury recovery, our therapists use a combination of deep pressure, stretching, and targeted techniques to get you back to training faster. We also treat overuse injuries like plantar fasciitis, shin splints, and rotator cuff strain.
- IT band syndrome and runner's knee
- Hip flexor and hamstring tightness
- Shoulder and rotator cuff pain
- Plantar fasciitis
- Sciatica and low back pain
- Post-workout soreness and recovery
- Muscle strains and pulls
- General mobility restrictions
Insurance information
If you were hurt in a car accident, we can bill an eligible personal injury protection (PIP) claim directly; confirm coverage before your visit. Eligible workers' compensation (L&I) claims are billed directly as well. For commercial plans we are out of network, which means you pay us and we hand you a Superbill to file for reimbursement. FSA and HSA cards work here. Full insurance details.

How far we are from Capitol Hill
The Link is the sensible way to do this trip. Real times to 100 Wall Street:
- Capitol Hill Station — 19 minutes by light rail and foot, about 1.5 miles
- Walking the whole way is around 34 minutes, mostly downhill coming and decidedly not going back
One stop to Westlake, then about ten minutes down through Belltown. That usually beats driving, because it skips both the hill and the hunt for a space. If you work at one of the First Hill hospitals the same trip applies, and early appointments before a day shift are the easiest to get.
There is paid street parking on Wall Street and paid lots within a block or two. We do not validate, and Belltown parking is Belltown parking, so at rush hour the bus is usually faster than circling.
Clinical massage, not a spa treatment
We work on specific problems rather than general relaxation, and we see a lot of neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica and low back pain, and TMJ. Several of our therapists work alongside physical therapy and chiropractic care rather than instead of it.
If a car accident is what brought you here, PIP pays for this and we bill your claim directly, so the cost question mostly goes away. Otherwise, FSA and HSA funds apply, and commercial plans are an out-of-network superbill you file yourself. Here is how that works.
