Relaxation and clinical massage for Queen Anne residents
Queen Anne is a neighborhood of busy households. Parents managing work and family schedules, professionals commuting downtown, retirees staying active on the hill. The common thread: everyone could use an hour where someone works on the knots they have been carrying around for weeks.
Maxwell Massage PLLC is located at 100 Wall St in Belltown, just 5-10 minutes from Lower Queen Anne. Whether you need a relaxing Swedish massage to decompress, prenatal massage during pregnancy, or clinical deep tissue work for chronic pain, our therapists match the session to your needs.
We see a wide range of clients from Queen Anne. Some come in for maintenance, booking a session every few weeks to stay loose. Others come with specific problems: a stiff neck that will not go away, headaches that start at their temples, or back pain that flares up every time they carry their kids.

Insurance information
Workers' compensation claims (L&I) are billed directly, which matters when the injury happened on a shift rather than at a desk. Car accident claims (PIP) are billed directly too. Commercial insurance is a different arrangement: we are out of network, so you pay at the visit and we give you a Superbill to submit for reimbursement. FSA and HSA cards are accepted. Rated 5 out of 5."I had an incredible massage with Lauren! I am a hairstylist and weightlifter and I was having nerve pain lasting for weeks and no stretches or nerve glides were helping. I came for a massage and immediately she got to the root of my issues! 2 days later and my pain is almost completely gone! …"

How far we are from Queen Anne
Lower Queen Anne is the closest neighborhood to us after Belltown itself. Real times to 100 Wall Street:
- KOMO Plaza — 8 minutes on foot, 9 by bus
- Seattle Center and Climate Pledge Arena — 13 minutes on foot, 10 by bus
Eight minutes means an appointment fits either side of a shift without much planning. From the top of Queen Anne, the RapidRide D down 1st Avenue North or the Monorail to Westlake both work, and both beat driving down the hill and looking for a space.
There is paid street parking on Wall Street and paid lots within a block or two. We do not validate, and Belltown parking is Belltown parking, so at rush hour the bus is usually faster than circling.
Shift work, screens, and the neck
Broadcast and venue work is its own kind of physical: long hours standing, awkward camera and equipment positions, irregular sleep. We treat neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches and migraines, and TMJ and jaw pain, which shows up more than people expect in anyone who talks or clenches for a living.
FSA and HSA funds cover massage with us. For commercial insurance we are out of network, but you get a superbill and can claim reimbursement yourself if your plan includes out-of-network massage benefits. The full explanation is on our pricing page.
